Meet the TRUSAR K9 Team

TRUSAR is comprised of dedicated individuals who want to make a difference in their community. Our members contribute through donations of their time, money or expertise in fields such as search technique, K-9 handling, fundraising, education, and team building. Our efforts are all volunteer and our funding provided through dues and the generosity of individuals and companies interested in our mission.

Our K9 and Support members in the field respond to law enforcement requests for search and rescue and search and recovery activities. TRUSAR requires our field members to receive NASAR certification before being fielded and meet NIMS compliance. The SARTECH standards were formulated by the National Association for Search and Rescue (NASAR) and are recognized by many states and agencies.

Our Board of Directors governs the financial affairs of the team and oversees all business activities.
